I am currently suffering
the vicissitudes
of bipolar Time

Delivering groceries
Ate my morning
Then
the garden flew

I stole time
back
by refusing
to listen
to someone’s story
thoughtlessly
wounding them
by my haste

Now
Time drags
Exhaustion
Over me
Being there
for someone else
Bored selfish
By their constant
chattering babble
And music unenjoyable
