We are dropped here

still seated

In high places

In our minds.

Gravity binds us

Into these helpless earthsuits

The longer we stay here

The less we remember

Of heaven

And the realms that we call home.

Bound to earth

We strive

Life is hard

Unless

We access the Way

That connects us with God.
